The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, May 30, ended the third phase of his tour of the ECOWAS countries with a day’s working visit to the Republic of Niger.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has stated that the programmes and policies that have been initiated by his government, some 5 months into office, will put the country on a path of fiscal consolidation, debt sustainability and growth.

On Monday, June 5, 2017, Cabinet held its regular fortnightly meeting at which, amongst others, issues bordering on the tragic killing of Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama were discussed. At the meeting, the following decisions were reached, regarding the late Captain Maxwell Adam Mahama:

Monrovia, June 3, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is attending the 51st Ordinary Session of the Authority of Heads of State and Government of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in Monrovia, Liberia, on June 4, 2017.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, left Ghana on Monday, 5th June, 2017, to attend meetings of the United Nation’s Advocacy Group of Eminent Personalities on the UN 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, in his capacity as co-Chairperson of the Group, taking place in Belgium and the United States of America, and attend the G-20 Partnership for Africa Summit in Germany.
