The Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has announced 10 measures introduced by various Ministries, Departments and Agencies over the past nine months in an effort to improve the country’s business environment.
The Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has called on Ghanaian youth, especially those in the Zongo community, to resist any attempt to draft them into engaging in any anti-social activities, especially political vigilantism.

“When we make the wrong choices, we must act to set things right. When those put in charge of running the affairs of state get it wrong, we must have the courage, the humanity and the selflessness to say so. That is our patriotic duty. We should also not be seen, at every given opportunity, to be running down our nation merely to realise our narrow, parochial and partisan interest. That is not acceptable patriotism.”
The Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr.Mahamudu Bawumia on Friday, 1st March, 2019, joined Muslim worshippers at the Abossey Okai Central Mosque in Accra, to offer prayers and thanks-giving to Allah for his goodness to Ghana in its 62 years of Independence.
