The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has received the report of the Emile Short Commission of Inquiry established to inquire into the incidents of violence that occurred during the 31st January, 2019, by-election in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
The International Boxing Federation’s Lightweight World Champion, Richard Oblittey Commey, on Monday, 11th March, 2019, presented his title to the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, at Jubilee House.
The Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has called on Ghanaian youth, especially those in the Zongo community, to resist any attempt to draft them into engaging in any anti-social activities, especially political vigilantism.
The Vice President of the Republic, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has announced 10 measures introduced by various Ministries, Departments and Agencies over the past nine months in an effort to improve the country’s business environment.
“When we make the wrong choices, we must act to set things right. When those put in charge of running the affairs of state get it wrong, we must have the courage, the humanity and the selflessness to say so. That is our patriotic duty. We should also not be seen, at every given opportunity, to be running down our nation merely to realise our narrow, parochial and partisan interest. That is not acceptable patriotism.”
