The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has outlined his programme for the social and economic transformation of the country, and is therefore urging investors and CEOs of the largest African and international companies to invest in Ghana

I am delighted to join all of you today to celebrate the laying of the foundation stone for the new Chancery building of the Embassy of France here in Accra. I am glad that the ceremony of this happy development has fallen to my lot. My appreciation of all things French is well known. I spent five of the most productive years of my youth living and working as a lawyer in Paris, which is responsible for this attachment.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has paid glowing tribute to the late Chief Justice, George Kingsley Acquah, on the 10th anniversary of his death.

Mrs. Jane Acquah, Ladies and gentlemen, an opportunity to say a few words about such an illustrious and distinguished man of this country cannot be turned down. I am grateful to the widow and family of the late Chief Justice George Kingsley Acquah, for extending an invitation to me to attend this 10th Anniversary of his home call.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has stated that achieving excellence in girls’ education is a must if the country is to shed off the evils of poverty, ignorance and disease, and put onto the path of progress and prosperity.
