The President of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO), Dr Olumuyiwa Bernard Aliu, has made an appeal to President Akufo-Addo to lead the efforts within West Africa to develop the aviation industry.

A visiting delegation from Singapore, led by its Minister for Trade and Industry, Dr Koh Poh Koon, on Friday, March 31, 2017, paid a courtesy call on the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, with the aim of deepening further the ties that exist between the two countries.
The programme by the Akufo-Addo government to provide each district in the country with at least a factory has received a major boost, with the Universal Merchant Bank announcing a $100 million support package for the project.
The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has assured the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, of his commitment to ensuring that the rule of law works without fear or favour, and without regard to any partisan, ethnic or religious considerations.
