Accra, Feb. 28, GNA - President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday joined servicemen and scores of Ghanaians to commemorate the 69th anniversary of the shooting that led to the death of three ex-servicemen at the Osu Christianborg Crossroads on February 28, 1948.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says he is grateful for the confidence reposed in the future of the Ghanaian economy by the international airline, Air France-KLM, through the establishment of a direct flight from Accra and Paris, the 1st of its kind in 50 years.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, is seeking the support and technical assistance of the government of the Republic of Cuba for the construction of a biolarvicide factory in Ghana, to help in the fight against malaria.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has stated that his government intends to build very strong diplomatic and economic relations with Qatar, and, indeed, with all the countries of the Gulf, as this will draw in the necessary investments to help develop Ghana and return her onto path of progress and prosperity.
