Pursuant to Articles 202 and 212 of the Constitution, the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has, in consultation with the Council of State, confirmed the appointments of the following persons:

Mr. David Asante Appeatu                     –          Inspector General of Police

Maj. Gen. Obed Boamah Akwa             –          Chief of Defence Staff of the Armed Forces

Maj. Gen. William Azure Ayamdo         –          Chief of Army Staff

The said appointments take effect forthwith.
