The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has reiterated the commitment of his government to providing the youth of Ghana with a functional, ICT-driven educational system, that constantly responds to the challenges and evolution of modern science and technology.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has cut the sod for the commencement of construction of the 400-MegaWatt Bridge Power project, the world’s largest LPG-fired power plant.

“My coming to Ghana is for a simple reason. My message is to come and say thank you. We have a proverb in our own saying: ‘If you want to praise a farmer and you want to thank him for a remarkable job, a job well done, you have to visit him at his or her farm. That is why I am here today.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has stressed the critical importance the regional market of ECOWAS represents to the development of West Africa, stating that “it has to be a very fundamental objective of all of our peoples and governments in the region.”

It is an honour for me to be amongst you today as we celebrate May Day, the day set aside specially for workers. It is my first as President of the Republic, and I share your joy in the day. I have discovered that I am now, unfortunately, the chief employer, but I also remain, quite properly, our nation’s chief labourer.
