The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says the introduction of a single currency in West Africa will, amongst others, help remove trade and monetary barriers, reduce transaction costs, boost economic activity, and raise the living standards of the peoples of the Region.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, 20th February, 2018, launched the 10-year Cahsew Development Plan, in Wenchi, in the Brong Ahafo Region, a plan aimed at diversifying Ghanaian agriculture.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has urged the Government, and the leaders of Togo’s Opposition, to be guided, always, by Togo’s interests, as well as the interests of the Togolese people, in a bid to find a lasting solution to the on-going political impasse in that country.

The Togolese Government and the Coalition of 14 Opposition political parties have agreed to implement a number of measures aimed at building trust and confidence amongst the political actors in Togo.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says no headmaster or headmistress of any Senior High School in the country is to charge any unapproved or illegal fees, or charge fees already exempted under the Free SHS policy.
