Organisers of the Miss Ghana pageant, on Tuesday, March 7, 2017, paid a courtesy call on the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, to congratulate him on his victory in the December 2016 election, and on the 60th independence anniversary celebration of Ghana.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, commended the effort of Ghanaian women in their various fields of endeavor, which have contributed to the development of the country.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has pledged the support of his government towards the revival of boxing and other sporting disciplines in the country, during his tenure of office.

The Director General of the West African Health Organisation (WAHO), Dr Xavier Crespin, has appealed for the support of the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in the local production of pharmaceuticals in the West African region.

The Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, will leave Ghana on Thursday, March 9, 2017 to attend the National Day Celebrations of the Republic of Mauritius, as the Special Guest.
