The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Sunday, 10th June, 2018, ended his 3-day tour of the Western Region with an announcement of massive road constructions to be undertaken in the region this year.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Saturday, 9th June, 2018, cut the sod for the construction of the 25 kilometre Asankragua – Fordjuorkrom feeder road, in the Amenfi West constituency, in the Western Region, in fulfilment of a campaign pledge he made in the run-up to the December 2016 elections.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has launched the 2018 Ghana Census of Agriculture, which will inform the formulation of strategies and policies, as well as the monitoring and evaluation of such policies, in the agricultural sector.

“Ghana, Asankragwaman, Wassa Amenfiman, and Enchi man are grateful to you. If God had not made you President, all our water bodies would have been destroyed by now. Before you came into office, there was no way we could drink from our rivers and streams. However, today, as a result of your fight against galamsey, we are able to do so. We thank you, President Akufo-Addo, and your government for making this possible.”

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Friday, 8th June, 2018, cut the sod for the construction of the 24.3km Kojina-Chirano-Akoti Road in the Bibiani/Anhwiaso/Bekwai constituency in the Western Region.
