The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has urged Chief Executive Officers of leading Ghanaian and multinational business operating in the country to help in the realization and implementation of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has, in accordance with applicable laws, sworn into office the governing Boards of the Coastal, Middle Belt and Northern Development Authorities, and the Board of the Zongo Development Fund.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Saturday, 9th June, 2018, cut the sod for the construction of the 25 kilometre Asankragua – Fordjuorkrom feeder road, in the Amenfi West constituency, in the Western Region, in fulfilment of a campaign pledge he made in the run-up to the December 2016 elections.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Sunday, 10th June, 2018, ended his 3-day tour of the Western Region with an announcement of massive road constructions to be undertaken in the region this year.

“Ghana, Asankragwaman, Wassa Amenfiman, and Enchi man are grateful to you. If God had not made you President, all our water bodies would have been destroyed by now. Before you came into office, there was no way we could drink from our rivers and streams. However, today, as a result of your fight against galamsey, we are able to do so. We thank you, President Akufo-Addo, and your government for making this possible.”
