The Minister for Roads and Highways, Hon. Kwasi Amoako-Atta, has assured the people of Salaga, and, by extension, the people of the Savannah Region that the 138-kilometre Tamale-Salaga-Makango Road will be completed by the end of the year.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Monday, 3rd February, 2019, on his tour of the Savannah Region, commended the Ghana Water Company Ltd for completing the rehabilitation of the Salaga water system project.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, will from Monday, 3rd February to Tuesday, 4th February 2020, embark on a two-day working visit of the Savannah and Upper West Regions.

“It is not always the man from your village is your brother. Sometimes, some body can come from a village a long way away, and can be a better brother for you. So, to the people of North East Gonja, I am saying to you that your brother from Kyebi will be a better brother for you than your brother from Bole Bamboi.”

The Vice President of the Republic, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has urged key stakeholders in the road sector to collaborate with Government to make the year 2020 truly the ‘Year of Roads’.
