The Republic of Ghana and the Kingdom of Norway have pledged to deepen the ties of co-operation that exist between the two countries, following the holding of bilateral talks between President Akufo-Addo and Prime Minister Erna Solberg on Monday, 24th February, 2020.

“We have done much more than we inherited, we are creating conditions for young people to have hope again, and we are determined to do more. Things are working in Ghana, and Ghana is surely changing. Mr. Speaker, our nation is in good health, and in good, competent hands!”

“VW is building its plant at the North Industrial Area in Accra, and is due to start production by the end of April. Sinotruk has begun assembling its trucks. Toyota is scheduled to start the assembly of vehicles in Tema in the last quarter of this year. We have high hopes for this new industry, which has come to join our own Kantanka.”

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says another good example of deliberate, well-thought out policy, executed through hard work and commitment, that is generating dividends, is what his Government has done about food and agriculture in the past three (3) years.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says the threat posed to Ghana’s future by galamsey is grave, and Government will not shirk its responsibilities in dealing with it.
