The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has admonished Ghanaians to seek the face of God, in the wake of the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country, whilst observing, at the same time, the enhanced measures announced by government in dealing with the menace.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Monday, 16th March, 2020, met with the leadership of Parliament, at Jubilee House, the seat of the nation’s presidency, to discuss wide-ranging issues bordering on the Coronavirus pandemic.

The Vice President of the Repubclic, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, has handed over 365 Double Cabin Pickup trucks and 493 motorbikes to officials of the Ministry of Education in fulfillment of President Akufo-Addo’s commitment to ensure that the education sector is adequately resourced to deliver improved learning outcomes.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says that, even though the Coronavirus pandemic presents severe consequences for the country, it also presents Ghana with an opportunity to reduce her dependency on imports.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says he has directed the Minister for Finance, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta, to make available the cedi equivalent of $100 million to enhance Ghana’s Coronavirus preparedness and response plan.
