The Chief of Defence Staff, the Inspector General of Police, and other Security Service Chiefs have pledged their loyalty to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, John Dramani Mahama. Brigadier General Thomas Oppong Peprah assured the President that the security architecture would remain professional and dedicated to helping the President realise his vision of Resetting Ghana. President Mahama urged them to take proactive measures to maintain peace and stability and remain vigilant in safeguarding the nation against internal and external threats. The President also reminded them about external concerns, particularly threats along the northern borders and terrorism.
