President John Dramani Mahama will take his nationwide “Thank You” tour to the Upper West Region on Thursday.
This and other such visits serve as an opportunity for the President to express his deep gratitude to the Chiefs and people of the various regions for their unwavering support during the 2024 general elections.
The President will address a grand durbar at the Jubilee Park in Wa and is expected to outline his administration’s priority projects for the region.
Focus areas will include bolstering the region’s agricultural sector through strategic investments in agriculture and agro-processing, improving road networks, enhancing healthcare infrastructure, and implementing other crucial infrastructure projects.
The president will also detail the government’s job creation initiatives aimed at improving the livelihoods of the people of the Upper West.
He will also highlight key achievements made in laying a solid foundation for the #ResettingGhana agenda. This agenda aims to propel Ghana towards sustainable development and economic prosperity.
Following the Upper West Region visit, the President is scheduled to address a similar durbar of Chiefs and people in the Greater Accra region in Dodowa on Friday, May 16th, 2025.
