The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has been named as the first Honorary Fellow of the esteemed National College of Defence Studies.
The Chiefs and people of Ejura in the Ashanti Region, have conveyed a warm message of goodwill to the Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, in his bid to be elected President of Ghana next month.
In a notable show of support for Ghana’s cocoa farmers, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo made two major announcements at the 40th National Farmers’ Day celebration, held on Friday, 8th November 2024.
The Regent of Akrofuom, Nana Anim Agyekum II, has, on behalf of his people, pledged their support to the Vice President and Presidential Candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
During the 40th National Farmers’ Day celebration on Friday, 8th November 2024, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo emphasized the critical need to build climate-resilient agriculture in Ghana, stressing that climate change poses an imminent threat to food security and agricultural productivity.
