The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has stated that the rapid economic development being anticipated from the policies put in place by his government will automatically translate into more satisfactory pension arrangements for the elderly.
The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, left Ghana on Sunday, July 2, 2017, to attend the 29th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of the African Union, which is being held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Ghana and Ethiopia have pledged to work towards strengthening the ties of co-operation that exist between them, after the Presidents of the two countries expressed satisfaction with the current state of the relations between them.
The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), on Monday, 3rd July, 2017, named the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, as the “AU Gender Champion” for 2017.
