The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has announced that Sefwi Wiawso has been chosen as the capital of the newly created Western North Region.
The Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development for the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr Gerd Muller, has lauded the Akufo-Addo government’s “impressive progress on the economic front” which has made the West African country one of the fastest growing economies in the world and a preferred partner of his country.
The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has, by Constitutional Instrument (C.I. 113), signified the official creation of the Bono East Region, and named Techiman as its capital.
