Members of the Muslim community in Sawla, capital of the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba district of the newly-created Savannah region, have praised government for the many interventions made over the past two years to make life better for ordinary citizens of the country.

The Chief Imam for Bole, capital of the Bole District in the newly created Savannah Region, Mohammed Sulemana Iddrisu, has heaped high praise on the Nana Akufo-Addo government for the numerous projects undertaken in the relatively short period it has been in office.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says the 2-day visit to Ghana by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Kingdom of Norway, Her Excellency Erna Solberg, is aimed at reinforcing the strong ties of friendship and co-operation that already exist between Ghana and Norway.

A number of chiefs and their people in the Upper West Region have hailed the Akufo-Addo government for implementing programmes that continue to transform their lives.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has assured the senior national football team, the Black Stars, of the unflinching support of government and the people of Ghana, ahead of their participation in the 2019 edition of the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.
