In a significant stride towards enhancing the road infrastructure in the Ashanti Region, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo presided over the sod-cutting ceremony for the dualization of the Anwiankwanta-Ahenema Kokoben Road on July 15, 2024.
In a bold assertion of his administration’s accomplishments, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo declared that his government has constructed more roads than the combined efforts of the Mills/Mahama administration. The announcement was made during the sod-cutting ceremony for the dualization of the Anwiankwanta-Ahenema Kokoben Road on July 15, 2024.
"When I came here to campaign in 2020, I promised you that if you give me and NPP the mandate, we will fix this very important road linking Tatale to Yendi and Tamale.

During his acceptance speech at Valley View University, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo addressed the upcoming general elections scheduled for December 7th, 2024. This date, coinciding with the Sabbath of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Church, has raised concerns within the Adventist community about their participation in the electoral process. President Akufo-Addo respectfully appealed to the SDA Church to reconsider their stance on not participating in the elections due to religious observance.
