A Vice Premier of the People’s Republic of China, Sun Chunlan, has applauded the stability of the Ghanaian economy and development taking place under the government of the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

The Government of Ghana, in collaboration with global medicines company Novartis, has launched the first public-private partnership designed to ease the pain and improve the lives of people with sickle cell disease in Ghana.
It was homecoming of sorts for Ghana’s Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as he arrived in Nalerigu for the 2019 Damba Festival, where he was welcomed by a cheerful crowd and sang praises to him. The ecstasy was immeasurable as people from far and near flooded the streets of Nalerigu, dancing and firing musketry to the admiration of onlookers.
