The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says Government’s programme for the revival of Ghanaian agriculture, “Planting for Food and Jobs”, is achieving considerable successes within the three years of its implementation.

“We must eat what we grow to motivate our farmers, and support the development of the local food industry. Indeed, Rebecca, my beautiful wife, our First Lady, insists that we eat local rice at home, and has made sure of it. I call on all Ghanaians to follow my example, and eat local rice.”

Ghana and South Africa have signed an agreement for the establishment of a Bi-National Commission to deepen the ties of co-operation and bonds of friendship between the two countries.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Thursday, 5th December, 2019, presented a number of vehicles to the Ghana Armed Forces, in fulfillment of a pledge he made to them this year.

The Director of the Department of Urban Roads, Alhaji Abass Awolu, has assured the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, that the 7.5-kilometre road will be completed and handed over in June 2020.
