The leaders of the major political parties in the country have commended the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for the measures he has put in place to deal with the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.
The Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated 500 Cedis to each of the stranded Kayaye (head porters) who were stopped at Ejisu in the Ashanti Region on their way to the Northern Region.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has donated his three months salary to the Covid-19 Fund established by President Akufo-Addo to help the vulnerable infected by the virus and also the frontline health officers who are combating the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.
