The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has applauded President Alassane Ouattara for his show of statesmanship, in the aftermath of the verdict passed by the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) on the delimitation of the maritime boundaries of the two countries.

It is with great pleasure that I welcome the President of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire, His Excellency M. Alassane Ouattara, and his delegation to Ghana. Mr. President, we are very honoured to have you in Ghana. You are amongst a people renowned for their sense of hospitality. Akwaaba, as you know, is our word of welcome, and I hope you and your delegation enjoy your stay with us.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has launched the National Digital Property Addressing System, “ghanapostGPS”, describing it as a “move ever closer to realizing our vision of formalising the Ghanaian economy.”

Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire have agreed to set up a strategic co-operation framework, and have signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement (SAP), to that end, which will give new momentum to Ivorian-Ghanaian co-operation.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has cut the sod to mark the beginning of the implementation of the warehouse component of government’s Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP).
