The Minister of Economic Cooperation and Development for the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr Gerd Muller, has lauded the Akufo-Addo government’s “impressive progress on the economic front” which has made the West African country one of the fastest growing economies in the world and a preferred partner of his country.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has, by Constitutional Instrument (C.I. 113), signified the official creation of the Bono East Region, and named Techiman as its capital.

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, 12th February, 2019, presented Constitutional Instrument No. 116 (C.I 116) to the Overlord of Mamprugu, Naa Bohagu Mahami Abdulai Sheriga, head of a delegation from the North East Region, signifying, officially, the creation of the region.
