The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, says the increased presence of members of the Ghana Armed Forces in the Upper East Region is to help secure the country’s borders.
The Bawku Naba, Asigri Abugrago Azoka II, has thanked the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, for the projects being undertaken to improve the standard of living of the people of Bawku, in the Upper East Region.
The Minister for Education, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, says the decision by the Akufo-Addo led government to spend the country’s oil revenues on “Free Senior High School education is a better investment than anything the country can dream of.”
The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has assured residents of the Upper East Region that the Bolgatanga to Bawku road will be completed before the 2020 elections.
