President Akufo-Addo Leaves For The Gambia

The President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, left Ghana on Saturday, February 18, 2017, for The Gambia.

President Akufo-Addo is attending the inauguration ceremony of President Adama Barrow, as well as participating in the country’s 52nd Independence Day celebration. The President will also meet with the contingent of Ghanaian soldiers who are part of ECOWAS’ mission in The Gambia, as well as interact with members of the Ghanaian community resident there.

The President will return home on the same day.
